Our parish vision is for comprehensive youth ministry according to the U.S. Bishops document Renewing the Vision. The CYM is responsible for coordinating youth ministry for all high school and junior high youth. This includes the recruitment and supervision of volunteers, and for developing the components of comprehensive youth ministry. Candidates must have a strong faith and prayer life and demonstrated competence in Catholic youth ministry. The CYM must possess leadership, interpersonal, program, administrative, and organizational skills. A college degree is required with 3-5 years experience in ministry preferred. St. Albert the Great Roman Catholic Parish in North Royalton, Ohio, seeks a full-time Youth Ministry Coordinator (YMC) for a comprehensive youth ministry program according to the U.S. Bishops document Renewing the Vision. The YMC is responsible for coordinating youth ministry for all junior high, high school, and young adults. Duties include developing a parish-wide comprehensive youth ministry, recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers. Candidates must be Roman Catholic living a life of full communion with the Church, have demonstrated competency in youth ministry, leadership, interpersonal, program, administrative, and organizational skills. The YMC works as a member of the Parish Pastoral team. A college degree is required with a minimum of three years full-time experience in youth ministry; experience and training/certification for Pastoral Ministry preferred.
