GENERAL INFORMATION
CYO Athletics offers a Varsity Football
program for boys in grades 6 through 8. (See
CYO Player Eligibility Rules for guidelines). Teams are
formed from catholic parishes, schools or educational institutions
in the Central, Eastern, and Western areas of the Diocese of
Cleveland.
Boys Football games are played at various
fields throughout the CYO service area. League formation is based
upon geography and CYO competition rules (See
Bylaw 2-8 for details). A boy’s football schedule is
prepared by the CYO office and can be viewed online at www.clevelandcyoschedules.org. The
Diocesan Varsity Boys Football Championship game is played at the end of the season.

ONLINE TEAM ENTRY PROCESS
INFORMATION
EFFECTIVE FALL 2009
Beginning August 2009,
all CYO sport team registrations must be completed online only in
sports pilot software by clicking the Online Team Registration
button at the top of the page. We will no longer accept
paper team entries.
Online team registrations are to be completed by the parish pastoral
designee or parish assistant who is trained in the
software only. Please plan ahead to make this transition.
