this Cleveland CYO Championships will be placed in the Bishop Roger
Gries CYO Good Shepherd Fund to assist our CYO parishes and staff
with training, supplies, and support for the mission of CYO.

CYO BASEBALL
CHAMPIONSHIP

The CYO
Baseball Tournament Championship game was held Sunday, May 23,
2010 4:30 p.m. at St.
Monica field in Garfield Hts. It was a beautiful day as
spectators enjoyed watching St. Paschal Baylon and St. Albert
the Great played a great game with a final score of 2-0! We
would like to acknowledge St. Paschal Baylon boys as runner up
champions on a game well played!
Congratulations to St.
Albert the Great boys baseball team and coaches on their
championship win!!

CHAMPIONSHIP

The CYO
Softball Tournament Championship game was held Sunday, May 23, 2010
5:30 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi field. It was a beautiful
day as spectators enjoyed watching Gesu and St. Gabriel played a
great game with a final score of 1-0! We would like to congratulate
Gesu girls as runner up champions on a game well played.

win!!

CYO Boys Volleyball Tournament Championship game was held May 23, 2010 at St. Edward High School,
13500 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, Ohio. St. Paschal Baylon and
Sts. Joseph and John boys volleyball played an exciting match.
We would like to congratulate Sts. Joseph and John boys runner up
champs.

CHAMPIONSHIP |
 The CYO
Girls High School Volleyball Tournament championship game was played
on
May 23-24, 2010 at Magnificat High School, 20770 Hilliard Blvd, Rocky
River, Lakewood, Ohio.
St. Angela
Merici and St. Leo the Great girls played each other in the
championship match. Congratulations to St. Angela Merici girls
high school volleyball team on their championship win! We
would like to congratulate runnerup St. Leo the Great girls!

CYO TRACK AND FIELD
CHAMPIONSHIP |
The CYO Track and
Field Championship
was held Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Bedford High School, Bearcat
Stadium, 481 Northfield Road, Bedford. It was well attended
and ran smoothly thanks to all the coaches, staff, and volunteers!
