GENERAL
INFORMATION
CYO Athletics offers a volleyball program for
boys in grades 4 through
8. (See CYO Player Eligibility Rules for guidelines). Teams are formed
from catholic parishes, schools or educational institutions in the
Central, Eastern, and Western areas of the Diocese of Cleveland.
Boys
Volleyball games are played at various gyms throughout the CYO
service area. League formation is based upon geography and CYO
competition rules
(See Bylaw 2-8 for details).
A
boy’s volleyball schedule is
prepared by the CYO office and can be viewed online at
www.clevelandcyoschedules.org. The Diocesan
Varsity Boys Volleyball Championship game is played at the end of the
season.

ONLINE TEAM ENTRY PROCESS
INFORMATION
All CYO sport team registrations must be completed online only in
sports pilot software by clicking the Online Team Registration
button at the top of the page. We will no longer accept
paper team entries.
Online team registrations are to be completed by the parish pastoral
designee or parish assistant who is trained in the
software only. Please plan ahead to make this transition.

documents: Team Entry Instructions, Entry Fees, Sports Pilot Team
Confirmation Form, Coaches Meeting Dates and Times, Officials Fees,

Coaches Letter).

The Charter & Bylaws is the
governing document for all CYO sports and all member parishes. It should
be referred to for statements of philosophy and issues regarding
eligibility, eligibility requests, adjoining parish rules, merging
parishes to form a team, etc.
