Simply Yours - Weekly Young Adult Prayer Group

Come share fellowship and explore different forms of prayer within the Christian Tradition with other young adults at a weekly Thursday evening prayer group for young adults.  The group meets from 8-9pm at the Newman Center behind St. Bernard’s Parish in downtown Akron.  Experience firsthand the benefits of regular community prayer and fellowship.  Contact Pete Schafer at (330) 256-1636 or e-mail osuodc@hotmail.com for directions or more information.

Faith Alive Update
What is Faith Alive?
Faith Alive is the Young Adult Ministry at St. Dominic.   Faith Alive invites everyone in their 20's and 30's, single or married, with or without children, to deepen their faith through our Social, Service and Spiritual programs.  If you are a young adult who is interested in learning more, email us at stdomfaithalive@gmail.com or simply show up at one of our events!

What events are coming up?

The Malvern Garden Club is a group of people in Shaker who do the gardening and landscaping for the Hanna Perkins Center for free. In order to raise money for the plants, mulch, etc that they use, they are hosting a community wide yard sale on Saturday, June 6th. They really need some extra volunteers to help with setup, cleanup, and assorted odds n' ends throughout the day.  Download Flyer here

For more information about any of these events, please email stdomfaithalive@gmail.com.
