Founded in 1969 by Catholic Charities of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland,
St. Augustine Manor’s purpose was to provide quality long-term care to the area’s aging population. Since its origins, it has evolved into St. Augustine Health Ministries, a multifaceted organization serving people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life through skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, long term care, hospice care and a child enrichment center.
The continuum of care provided by St. Augustine Health Ministries celebrates and empowers each person to live a life of purpose, independence and well-being. Embraced by a friendly atmosphere upon entering, each resident is immersed in a variety of pursuits, with an emphasis on a “life-giving”, not “life limiting” environment. The goal is to enhance the social, emotional and spiritual well-being of each person, regardless of religion or financial status.
