Created in the image and likeness of God from the very beginning of time, human life begins its journey on earth from conception till  natural death. We are called to be proper stewards over the gift of life that has been given. This ethic of life is the thread that unites all efforts to uphold the dignity and quality of life at all stages of existence. Let us embrace this teaching with consistency as we continue our efforts in proclaiming the good news of life in our time and place.

DVD on Faithful Citizenship
The Diocesan Social Action Office has purchased several copies of the DVD, "Faithful Citizenship: A Matter of Conscience." There are three ten-minute segments that show how everyone can faithfully participate in the political process. Each segment helps Catholics learn how they can form their consciences in order to make important public choices. A Hispanic version is also available. Catholic Schools for Peace and Justice, which is staffed by Sr. Kathleen Ryan of our Diocesan Social Action Office, is featured on one of the segments. Bishop Richard G. Lennon is also interviewed. If you would like to share this DVD with your staff, or a parish group, call Ann Coplan at 888-620-5280 or Email to axcoplan@clevelandcatholiccharities.org. We would be happy to loan you a copy.
