Foster Care Services

“My foster parents saved my life,” explained Miya, age 14. “If it wasn't for my foster parents, I would be dead.  They gave me support, love, and a home.  They gave me a real home."

Catholic Charities Services Corporation provides a comprehensive system of foster care, adoption and birth family services helping families to make informed decisions which will serve the best interest of all. Foster families are unique and nurturing people who welcome and care for infants, children and teens while they wait to rejoin birth families or become a member of an adoptive family.

Our Foster Care Service provides for infants, children, teens and families throughout the eight counties of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, providing short or long term temporary care for varying lengths of time.  Our Foster Care network includes family and treatment foster homes.  Case management services are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Individuals, couples, and/or families willing and able to provide caring, nurturance, commitment, patience and understanding are the special people who become foster parents.
