 Bereavement Prepare Enrich

Couples wishing to be married should contact their parish priest or deacon at least six months before the desired wedding date. 
Readiness, theological preparation and marriage skills training are covered.   Special preparation is required for couples in which one or both have been married before.   The preparation process includes meeting with a priest or deacon, a premarital inventory (Prepare-Enrich), and preparation sessions on a Pre-Cana day, CANA II Day, PREP ® day, Engaged Encounter and/or meetings with Couple Ministers.

PREP is a marriage skills day suitable for all types of engaged couples and marriage enrichment for all married couples.  Topics include commitment, communication, conflict resolution, fun, spirituality of marriage.

CANA II is a marriage preparation series for couples in which a) one or both have been married before, or b) one or both of the spouses will become a stepparent. Topics include Sacramental commitment, communication, conflict resolution, and spirituality of marriage. Couples with no children, or adult children, may take the Saturday session only ($95). Couples who have stepchildren under age 18 should take the Saturday session and the follow-up Active Parenting For Stepfamilies series ($125), which teaches skills that help stepfamilies form and grow.
