Project F.O.C.U.S.

The Family Opportunity and Career Unification and Success Program (F.O.C.U.S) program provides employment and training services to families involved with the Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services’ (DCFS) START unit.





The goals of this program are sobriety, employment and reunification. FOCUS participants:

• Complete a four-week workshop;
• Complete a transitional job (paid work experience not voluntary);
• Work with employment staff to get a permanent job;
• Transportation and clothing assistance;
• Get support from committed and caring staff;
• Earn monetary incentives as milestones are reached.
