Employment Connection

As a contracted provider of Cuyahoga County Department of Workforce Development, Employment and Training operates the Fairfax and Ohio City Access Points, which provide employment services authorized by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). Services include: workshops in career planning; resume development; job search letters; interviewing skills and applications plus; career assessment to determine customers’; employment interests and direction for career planning; computer labs with Internet access; copier and fax machines; resource materials; job leads; and friendly and helpful staff who provide assistance.

Funding assistance for occupational skills training for eligible participants is available. Orientation sessions, which provide information about how to access these services, are offered at each site.
