Licensing
Catholic Charities is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services at all of its Early Learning Programs. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is responsible for the regulation of out of home child care environments in the State of Ohio.
Catholic Charities also participates in the Sate of Ohio’s Step Up To Quality initiative. Step Up To Quality is a voluntary Three-Star Quality Rating System which is being piloted in selected early childhood programs licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Step Up To Quality recognizes and promotes early care and education programs that meet quality benchmarks over and above the minimum health and safety licensing standards.
