Asperger Support Group
A group of nearly 200 Northeast Ohio parents and caregivers of
children affected by Asperger Syndrome, Pervasive Development
Disorder and High Functioning Autism. Membership also includes
professionals specializing in pediatric neurology, psychology
and psychiatry, counseling, occupational therapy and special ed
law. You can post a question or share experiences any time
on-line through the Yahoo e-mail forum. |
Family Haven
Provides services to individuals with DD
and has launched
its own line of coffee and tea.
All proceeds go to
serving people with disabilities. |
Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio
(formerly Maximum Independent Living)
Maximum
Accessible Housing of Ohio (MAHO) owns and operates five
affordable, accessible apartment communities located throughout
Northeast Ohio for people with physical, mobility disabilities.
All of our buildings are fully accessible and the rent is
subsidized so tenants pay 30 percent of their income toward
rent. MAHO also operates the
Accessible Housing Resource
Center, a source of accessibility information, advocacy,
education and outreach. |

It is the mission of the Ohio
Developmental Disabilities Council to create change that
improves independence, productivity and inclusion for people
with developmental disabilities and their families in
community life.

Ohio is a chapter of PWSA (USA) and is a non-profit, tax-exempt
organization dedicated to providing understanding and awareness
of Prader-Willi syndrome, to supporting affected persons and
families, to improving the quality of their lives, and to
encouraging research into the causes, management, and cure of
Prader-Willi syndrome. |
