Purpose: A community-based partnership of youth, adults and parishes providing recreation and care programs to support families, including those with elderly members or those with developmental disabilities. Programs include:

Adult Day Services
Athletics
Camp Christopher
Sum Fun
Recreational Respite
Youth Enrichment/After School Program
Youth & Young Adult Ministry

Population Served: Youth, families, elderly, developmentally disabled

Criteria: Services available to Summit County residents

Fees: Specific to each program offered. Sliding scale and Medicaid accepted.

Major Funders: Catholic Charities Annual Appeal; The United Way of Summit County; Ohio Department of Job and Family Services; Area Agency on Aging; CSBMR/DD; Ohio Child and Adult Care Food Program; public and private donations are among the major funders.

Did You Know?

Camp Christopher celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2004 with the participation of 1400 campers, 175 disabled campers, 591 families and 390 specialty campers. Financial assistance was provided to 160 youngsters in campership funding, amounting to over $35,000.

Neighborhood Services included 72 inner city youth involved with 139 sessions of activities, including after school snack, homework assistance, enrichment activities and field trips.
