Catholic Community Connection is a unique, unprecedented collaboration of Catholic-sponsored education, healthcare, human services, and senior living ministries. Working out of a shared mission of Catholic identity and values, Catholic Community Connection fosters collaboration in response to human needs across all stages of life. The Board Members of Catholic Community Connection are the administrators of the 22 organizations. Their commitment is critical to the ongoing development and vibrancy of this mission-driven collaborative group.

Catholic Community Connection offers valuable programs, services, and resources for individuals, groups, and communities across Northeast Ohio. Equally important is our role of common ground for the common good convener, catalyst, clearinghouse, and community connector. Each organization is an important anchor in the community, contributing to the well-being of our civic fabric. It is difficult to imagine Northeast Ohio without these Catholic Community Connection organizations.

A strategic planning process was completed in 2008. This set the stage for new, community-based activities, especially in marketing and outreach; wellness programming; better stewardship through more utilization of group purchasing; a more robust coordination of care and services including a dedicated phone line and an experienced Nurse Navigator; plus a new collaborative effort to better advocate for sound public policy to strengthen communities and families, especially the vulnerable, persons with disabilities, children, and seniors.

The Member Organizations recognize and value the wisdom of a fundamental commitment to form a separate nonprofit organization with staff dedicated to better serving the educational, health care, and social service needs of people across Northeast Ohio. Most importantly, CCC has demonstrated that the persons we serve are better served when we are working together.
