Collaboration - Programs

Are you interested in hosting a Catholic Social Teaching program for your parish or organization?

Catholic Social Teaching is a practical workshop that teaches the social mission of the Church through Catholic caring, healing, and teaching ministries. This workshop includes lectures with power point, handouts, group participation, a call to action, and an evaluation. A practical resource packet presents seven themes of Catholic Social Teaching, each in a separate brochure. Each brochure teaches a specific social teaching principle and promotes a “Call to Action” in response to the theme presented. Handouts are included for group activity and discussion
Catholic Social Teaching material can be presented as a single workshop, in individual education sessions, or as part of an ongoing program. It can also be adapted to suit a forum that works well for you. Training is also available for workshop facilitators at your parish or organization.
Abundant Life education and Catholic Social Teaching are resources of Catholic Community Connection, call to discuss opportunities for attending or hosting one or both of these valuable programs.
