Purpose: The Hispanic Outreach Program will help the Hispanic population access services and overcome obstacles which may prevent them from becoming a productive part of the community. The Latino Leadership Program is looking for Hispanic individuals who are interested in becoming leaders in their community. This group will help the members learn leadership skills that will enable them to serve others in their neighborhood and community. Through this program, participants will enrich their self confidence and establish contacts with important members of the community.
Population Served: Hispanic Lake County residents.
Criteria: Those who are experiencing difficulty accessing needed services. The Leadership program is designed for those who are willing to develop new skills and serve in volunteer roles within the community.
Fees: These programs are provided at no charge.
Major Funders: United Way of Lake County; Community Development Block Grant.
