Head Start Sites

Purpose: A Federal program for preschool children age 3 to 5 year. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities designed to help them succeed. Services are available to meet the special needs of children with disabilities.

Population Served: Children of low-income families at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Criteria: Preschool child between the age of 3 and 5 years old.

Major Funders: Department of Health and Human Services through the Office of Head Start, with a grant provided by the Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland.
