Georgia McCoy, Youth & Young Adult Ministry Specialist

Purpose: To link parishes to the Cleveland Diocesan Committee for Girls Religious Programs, that promotes spiritual growth in young people, providing opportunities and special experiences which enables them to become concerned, sharing individuals of their family, church and community. Adult advisors are trained in the Family of God, I live My Faith and Marian Medal Programs to work with participants in promoting the expression of the young person’s faith through positive actions and concrete spiritual experiences. The programs are intended to complement formal religious education provided by the Catholic Parish School and PSR programs. The Youth & Young Adult Ministry serves as a liaison between pastors, diocesan offices and the committee.

Population Served: Adults and parents of grade school – high school aged youth

Criteria: Varied according to program.

Fees: Fees vary according to service provided.
