Purpose: To collaborate with others across the Diocese (i.e., religious institutions, public and private agencies) to insure that the basic needs (food/shelter) of the most vulnerable in our presence are met.
Criteria: Applications are accepted for Emergency Assistance Mini Grant and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) dollars; for TANF assistance, applicant must meet income criteria and have minor children living in the home); registration is necessary for Pantry Programs.
Fees: There are no fees for these services
Major Funders: Catholic Charities Annual Appeal, Cuyahoga County; United Way,
Harvest for Hunger, FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program, Temporary
Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and Cleveland’s Community Development Block
