Rosemary Jacobs, Marriage & Family Specialist

Purpose: Designed to train married couples to assist in the marriage preparation process for those planning to be married. Couple Ministers work closely with the priest/deacon and other members of the parish marriage preparation team. Training classes that meet one night a week for six weeks in order to become certified. A list of trained couple ministers is available from the Department for Marriage & Family Ministry.

Population Served: Parishes and engaged couples throughout the Diocese

Criteria: Couple Ministers are volunteer married couples recommended by their parish and trained by the diocese to assist in the preparation of engaged couples for marriage.

Fees: $125.00 per couple
