Paul Kelly, Youth & Young Adult Ministry Specialist
Purpose: A volunteer program for those in their 20's and 30's who want to be more actively involved with outreach to the community. This program provides 8-10 events per year, mostly in Cleveland, where young adults volunteer in groups from around the diocese. Each event involves spending 4-6 hours giving time to social service organizations, i.e., St. Augustine Hunger Center, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Catholic Worker House, St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School, St. Aloysius Monthly Food Distribution and Providence House.
Population Served: Single and/or married women and men in their 20’s and 30’s.
Criteria: Must have a desire to be actively involved in community outreach.
Fees: There are no fees for this ministry.
Major Funders: Catholic Charities Annual Appeal.
