Camping in the Diocese of Cleveland

Continuing the Mission of Jesus, the Diocesan Camping Programs provide inclusive camping opportunities tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family. We work in collaboration with each other and the community to provide a learning experience that is Christ centered, safe, accredited, fun and ecologically sound. Our programs embrace the values of respect for the dignity of each person, stewardship and commitment to the Church and the community.

The Catholic Camps of the diocese provide diverse types of camping at a variety of locations throughout the diocese. Catholic Camps offer residential camping experiences, day camp experiences, environmental camp experiences and camps for children and young adults with special needs. Extended camp hours are available at numerous locations.

Catholic Camps are committed to: The dignity and respect of all people, developing community and a sense of belonging and caring for God’s creation. Catholic Camps provide joint training to staff and are accredited by the American Camping Association. The camp locations are convenient to anywhere in the diocese.
